We were absolutely amazed at how quickly the order was processed, engraved and shipped. We ordered it on a Thursday afternoon; it was received on Monday afternoon. Our son was sworn in as an attorney on Tuesday - we did anticipate having the gift for him in time, but amazingly enough, we did! WOW
Lawyer’s bookends

This set of bookends is stunning. My purchase was shipped a few days after placing the order, they arrived in a timely fashion, were well packaged, and happily are as sharp as was advertised. There is a minor chip on one of the corners which is why I am giving a 4 star rating. This is a disappointment for the set is quite lovely.

These bookends are great. The only issue I had was the monogram was not centered well.
Professional looking

Very heavy bookends. I realized that each one would be somewhat unique in that these are marble, so there would be some streaks or marbling. The ones we received were solid black except for one spot that didn't look like a "normal" marbling, but more like a spot that had been sanded down too far and revealed a white rectangle below the black. Thought about returning, but my spouse convinced me to give the gift anyhow to our son. The gold logo and initials looked impressive. They fit what we were looking for, but not sure I would order it again. (I tend to be a perfectionist for gifts.)
Disappointing

The quality of the bookends was very disappointing, and they were a gift, which also made it embarrassing. The marble was marred as if by a vise used during engraving. Also, one of them looked like an attempt was made to patch a crack, but it was still obvious. I offered to return them for exchange, but the recipient generously declined.
Okay, these bookends would be perfect EXCEPT you need to take their disclosures regarding variations in color very literally. I received black bookends with white spots right on the front. They didn't look good, and I was quite disappointed.
Looks good from afar

The marble on its face looks nice, but the bottom was pretty scratched up and the sides didn't look that great either. Hopefully my boss doesn't notice, but I was expecting more from this.
One bookend arrived cracked and after requesting a replacement I was told that this is "normal for marble." Be forewarned that though the photograph shows a smooth product, it is not what you will receive. Moreover, you will not be provided a replacement or refund. Buyers beware. There are plenty of more reputable companies from which to purchase such products.
