If you want to provide an option, get it. But it's not a must. One person hung it on the wall because he'd developed a wall of photos for his father. One used it and set it on the mantel. So it's nice, just not necessary.

Awesome item, absolutely need it to display any of the plates you purchase. One stop shopping, if you are choosing to display any plate you are buying, would definitely recommend it.

Good quality easel. Sturdy and heavy. Would purchase again.

The easel was already put together, I had to do was slide the two support pegs into the pre-drilled holes. I did place a drop of glue in each hole as a precaution. Other than that Love the easel.

I ordered the easel to go along with the photo canvas i bought for my mom and i'm glad i did. It held the canvas up nicely. I think it's better to use the easel than to prop the canvas on something else and it was very easy to put the product together.
