It was Time for an Upgrade! I bought personalized Christmas stockings from Personalization Mall in 2012, when my boys were under the age of two—sadly, we lost those stockings in a house fire in January 2023 (Don't worry! We all escaped the house safely.)
The old stockings were these cute 3-D plush characters—Santa, snowman, penguin, and reindeer—and had held up well over the years... but my boys are now pre-teen/teen, and I felt it was time to go with a more "mature" theme...
We rebuilt, and our house has a lot of blue and brushed nickel, so I wanted to go with a color for the holidays that would pop—I think the red and gold do that nicely.
The stockings themselves are beautiful—even my boys think so! The quality is exactly what I had expected: well-made. The fabric is soft to the touch, and the hanging loop appears strong enough to hold a stocking full of goodies. The gold reflects nicely... it's the perfect amount of sparkle.
