I gave it to my son's first grade teacher for teacher appreciation week filled with candy. She got married last month, and it was her first gift bearing her new last name. She seemed very touched. I am also a first grade teacher. I was given one from a parent for Christmas. After the candy was gone, I turned it into a classroom compliment jar and we are filling it up with puff balls every time another teacher gives us a compliment. When it is filled, we will celebrate with a popsicle recess!
